EVERY Vital Baby Product is BPA free - 1st June 2009

There’s been a lot in the media recently about BPA. If you’re wondering what all the fuss is about, here’s a quick rundown. BPA stands for bisphenol A – a substance that is included in all polycarbonate products, like baby bottles, made for everyday use around the home.

A report produced in the USA claims that long-term exposure to BPA could result in health and developmental implications for infants and children. The concern is that babies could ingest a small quantity of BPA, which leaches out of polycarbonate bottles when heated at high temperatures. There is, as yet, no long-term research or evidence to support a major health scare. The good news is that ALL Vital Baby bottles and feeding accessories are BPA-free. So, that’s one less thing for you to worry about.
